JNKVV UG Admission 2023
Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (JNKVV) offers four-year Bachelor’s degree programs in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, and Forestry through a semester system. Admission to these UG programs is conducted through the Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT), a state-level unified entrance test by the Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM), Bhopal.
Candidates selected through the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) entry test are admitted above the prescribed seats as per regulations. The following table outlines the number of seats and eligibility criteria for these programs:

JNKVV PG Admission 2023
For PG and doctoral programs, a joint online entrance examination is conducted annually for Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (RVSKVV), Gwalior, and JNKVV, Jabalpur. Key points about the admission process are as follows:
- Merit List: Based on the entrance test results, students are admitted to various Master’s and Ph.D. programs at JNKVV and RVSKVV according to merit and seat availability.
- Counseling: Candidates who qualify for online counseling are allocated subjects and universities/colleges based on the counseling procedure.
- Eligibility: No direct nomination or admission to any Master’s or Ph.D. program without qualifying the entrance examination.
- Priority: Candidates of JNKVV and RVSKVV are prioritized for the first counseling. Candidates from other universities are considered in the second counseling if seats remain vacant.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for unreserved & OBC categories, and 30% for SC & ST candidates.
- Examination: The online exam consists of one question paper per major subject with 100 MCQs, each having four options and no negative marking for wrong answers.
- Examination Centers: Jabalpur, Rewa, Bhopal, Indore, and Gwalior, with students selecting three preferences for the examination center.
